Sexy and Informative!
Kasia is an Art Director (or for common folk: a designer) living in the funky West Loop of Chicago. She serves as an Interactive Art Director for Edelman Digital. This status grants her access to work on very hip projects with a group of brilliant and, at times, hilarious individuals.
Someday she hopes to own a villa in Tuscany where she can sip a good glass of wine (of her own making) while reading endless stashes of magazines and books and hosting periodic dinners for family and friends. These dinners will involve home-grown herbs, eggs from truly happy chickens and hand made bread and butter perhaps? (making butter must be great for triceps- I’ve watched the lithographs!). For now, she can mostly be spotted stealing shots with her Nikon D60 or vintage Minolta, walking about, going to jazz shows, pedaling about town on her pink beach cruiser, and OFTEN thinking and talking about food.
About Foodsy
A loose collection of raves and rants, driven by a long time love affair with food. I was raised by undercover foodists – a bohemian family from Eastern Europe who poured their love and imagination onto each dish. Fine restaurant experience was not part of my experience growing up perhaps because I was raised by such talented and passionate people. Our house was always strangely crowded with my friends and strangers with hungry look on their faces and people still recall the best tea and sandwiches my grandma would make for just about anyone who rang the doorbell (and in pre-cellphone area you’ve had much more visitors). Even the tea was a customized experience – a one of the kind mix of Earl Gray and Orange Pekoe with a slice of fresh apple or orange, depending on season. We’ve usually dined together on four course dinners and the menu was seasonal, ever-changing, sustainable – most produce bought from local markets, dairy and meats purchased directly from the farmers. Cheesecakes were made from a homemade cheese, dumplings stuffed with forest mushrooms (hand-picked by us) and roasted chickens were bought alive the day before. There was even a running joke about my compassionate little self feeding live trout my parent caught and kept in a water buckets days before it was slaughtered, cleaned, and pan fried with young potatoes and pearl onions. Than there were my parents with their bohemian lives who brought in the curries, cardamom, and other exotic ideas to my developing palette. Whether simple or sophisticated, the food I ate growing up was never boring. That’s the only rule I carry along: BORING IS BANNED!

Bravo! Milo doczytac sie o wielu innych – nieznanych dla mnie twoich cechach. Ciekawe to wszystko i zapewne ogromnie angazujace.
Dalszych sukcesow – tata
How colorful! I am hoping that we can take your pink beach cruiser over to Schwa one day with a thermos full of the delightful Juliet and Romeo libation that you described.
Gratulacje
