Trotter’s To Go and Private Tasting Event @ Pops for Champagne

Hello world! This is a nearly a midnight post coming from a very exited birthday girl. OK – it’s not really my birthday just yet (the real date is June 26th) but there is no reason not to start celebrating early. I am a big believer in week-long birthday celebrations anyway! I for one started mine with a Strawberry Festival in Long Grove, IL yesterday… Wait, or was it the Edelman & Air One blogger event at Gioco last Thursday? Or was it a delightful dinner at Mado the night before?
I know, I am three posts behind but for now, let me just say that I too overjoyed for tomorrow to be blogging about yesterday. I’ll get to try Trotter’s To Go during lunch at work and later in the evening will attend private Chef Tasting Dinner at Pops for Champagne (prepared by the very talented and kind Andrew Brochu, executive chef). It will be six of us, lucky foodies, delighting in the first taste of the Summer menu… It’s like Christmas in June!
